Riding the new 2010 Harley Davidson Sportster 48.wmv

The highly anticipated Sportster 48. I ride the fast 1200cc Sportster down the up and down the street. Also I show the fork lock function (new to me compared to my 2003 sportster). Check out my Rustoleum Epoxy floor in progress.

do the stock pipes sound good? Can’t get a real idea from the video and the “fly by” sounded weak (no offense!)

@jo11111 Forward (foot) controls move your feet towards the front of the bike, whereas most of the stock sportsters are equipped with Mid-controls which sit below your knees. 1200cc is supposed to have great roll-on power at highway speeds, something I have yet to review.

I got mine a couple …
I got mine a couple weeks ago and I love it! I’m short as (5’5″) and the forward controls are comfortable for me so I don’t think many would have a problem with them. Good riding……..

Also, contined from my last post :-) Not sure if your thinking of replacing your exhaust in the future but, you should hear the V & H short shots on the nightster 1200(You tube), just a beautiful sound I must say!!! Question for anyone: Not sure if I should get the dealer to download update when upgrading exhaust or is this a money grab for the dealer??

Congrats on the awesome NEW ride!!!!! Thanks for sharing the videos, helped me in my decision between the Nightster and 48, both very nice bikes and a tough decision, I like the big front tire and under bar mirrors so the 48 it was.

got my 48 last wednesday 23rd been on order for 3 months , but it was well worth the wait it is awesome
