I’m sure most … I’m sure most cruiser riders won’t even get this since they take their bikes to the dealer for oil changes…

It said between … It said between them there is 900 years of building experience. Like when your parents say they have 150 years of parenting experience between the two of them.

are you stupid … are you stupid rugby? of course not. letting the bike watch tv is proven by science to increase it’s fun levels exponentially.

Yup, A Street … Yup, A Street Triple R is next on that list, bit of fun.
Thruxton is great fun, in fact, the most fun to ride out of the three. Sounds great with predator exhausts. Got the last of the clip-on handle bar models so it’s got that lower, cafe racer like feel to it, although not so great on longer rides with my height.

nice collection you … nice collection you got there. The tiger cub is, by comparison, a bit of a toy!
hopefully, at some point in the next year, i’ll be getting either a sprint ST or an RS. nice bikes. gotta love the triumph triple.
how does the new thruxton feel? nice and fast? or mildly fast but with great handling?
Maybe a bit optimistic calling it character but leaks or no leak I love those machines.
purklefluff said in April 16th, 2010 at 7:06 pm
i’m pretty sure … i’m pretty sure i’ll be buying one of these, the moment i have enough disposable income. like… the exact moment.
“you’re hired!….. wait.. what are you doing?”
“ringing up the triumph dealer”
score.

as much as i love … as much as i love the old triumphs (i own one!), i’m not sure the whole “character” thing rings true… if i’m honest, the less leaky a bike is, the better. i like my bikes to work properly. calling what is essentially a fault “character” seems a bit odd to me.
(btw, mine is a Tiger Cub, 1963… what’s yours?)
