@h4rleyhog I’m not really saying the V-Rod is a bad bike,,,its just that i prefer Triumphs .Harley finally got it right,after about 100 years,i’ve repaired quite a few Harleys and they really don’t do anything for me,too much weight for what BHP they put out ,sure they are pretty bikes and the quality of paint and chrome is lovely but to me a bike should be riden not just polished.Besides down here they are very few straight roads to just sit back and cruise,here you have to ride the curves .

lotuselanplus2s, well then if you restore motorcycles, you would know just how ridiculous the comparison is, mind you the Vrod will hit the 0-60 in 3.3 and the rocket 3.69 (Stock) so compared to the ghastly 2300cc engine the 1200 does very well! And anyway, the rocket 3 is just a bike with a chevi engine bolted on, whats motorcycle about that!

The VROD is a 1200cc, the Rocket 3 is a 2300cc, nearly double so if you compared them on that basis, then the rocket 3 loses BIG time as it does not do 0-60 in half the time nor does it double the Vrod’s top speed. Go out and ride these bikes on the track and then talk! Newbie!
