Riding a custom chopper (Harley Davidson motor) in Arizona

I rented the custom bike from Fun Time Rentals and put in a full days riding. This is the real deal, its an amazing bike, S&S motor, open pipes, hard tail, raked out front end but still steers where you put it. Jerry talked me through riding such a thoroughbred custom bike and I was delighted with the whole amazing experience. It turned heads wherever I went. I have ridden some amazing bikes, but this is one sweet ride, very special.

This was my first time riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle (XL 883 Sportster), following the HD Street Glide.
883 is agile and really easy to ride despite his weight.

2005 FLHPI Harley Davidson Road King Walk Around $12000 Part 1

Perfect mixture of Vivid Black and chrome. Just turned 14k miles.
Aftermarket air cleaner, sprocket change (for more low end power), power commander, Screaming Eagle clutch (under 2k miles on clutch), quick release Memphis Shades batwing fairing with gradient black 12″ windshield, genuine HD vented lower fairings, Mustang 4pc seat set (includes quick release passenger backrest and tall HD sissy bar), HD 2-up docking kits, quick release luggage rack, Mustang saddlebag lid covers that perfectly match the seats, custom HD star horn cover, Kuryakyn Panacea LED set up including: signals/markers/tail, Tri-Bar rear LED fender extension, LED plate cover, chrome skull front fender marker cover with LED bulb, UniqCycle 300 watt Ipod stereo system with Pioneer speakers (Ipod not included, but is plug and play with yours, amplifier installed in left saddlebag), powder-coated black wheels, driver floorboard extensions (moves them outward for better, wider leg position), passenger floorboards with HD chrome covers, extended heel shifter (not shown in pics as it was installed just days ago, but is shown in videos) which allows complete use of left floorboard, Kuryakyn highway pegs, beach style bars from a Custom, heated HD grips, Kruzer Caddy cup holder, dual accessory 12v sockets.
Have a couple boxes of parts to return to near stock look (except for original windshield) if you so ever desire, plus tons of extra parts. First video shows all parts included. Most all extras just added in last 4 months. There really is nothing left to do but get on this, ride it, and enjoy it for years and years to come.

Since this is the police edition, it has a naked tank (no emblem or stickers), air diaphragm under rider seat with adjustable air pressure which is GREAT for long rides, and a tachometer!!!

4 Videos are being listed. Part 1 is a complete walk around. Part 2 & 3 are virtual test rides. Part 4 is the conclusion and highlights the few flaws in the bike. Being YouTube, it is best to press play, and then pause and give it a few minutes to load before watching. This avoids the lag, but they are excellent videos that you will want to watch if you are serious about purchasing the bike!

Being a 2005 there are a couple of flaws in the form of a paint scuff on the rear fender just in front of the air tank/under the luggage rack about 2″ long from a wire chaffing the paint when in Police format, a couple scuffs on the saddlebags from removal and installation when being washed, a 2 small dings in the upper fork cover on the back side……..only noticeable if looking between fork and tank. The dings happened while changing handlebars and forks being turned with tachometer hanging in front of engine guard, pinching it. The speedometer is off -10mph at 80mph (when speedo says 80mph, you are only actually going 70mph….verified by GPS….and obviously the ratio is lower at slower speeds) due to the sprocket change. Speedo correction at a dealer can be done for about $50. It is just not off enough that is bothers me. On the bright side here……..that means this bike has UNDER the odometer shown 14,000 miles!!! Original police tires are now due to be replaced. This bike is 6 years old and is in EXCELLENT shape for that age. I just like to be upfront and honest, so want to mention everything so there are no surprises. These flaws are very minor and are shown up close in the last video and in the last pictures. 95% of the scuffs will buff out completely with a buffer, but I just have not had time to do it.Don’t need to sell so will not accept any low ball offers.
